This is the 1900 Census for Marshall county Alabama from familysearch.org They have free census records you can copy and save to your records. 
I am starting a genealogy blogspot for my Sims line. I am hoping to connect with others working on this line. My Great Grandfather John Sims came from Alabama to Oklahoma. He was born in May of 1860 He said in Guntersville, Marshall County Alabama. He married my great grandmother Catherine Key in 1885 I'll check this out for sure.
